This statement armchair is upholstered in a richly detailed William Morris Strawberry Thief design tapestry fabric, featuring the familiar birds, flowers, leaves and fruit associated with this much-loved Arts and Crafts design.

The Berkley combines a supportive high back, shaped wings, generously padded scroll arms and a removable seat cushion with elegant Queen Anne-style wooden legs.

Every chair is individually handmade to order by experienced craftspeople in our West Midlands workshop.

STRAWBERRY THIEF DESIGN
The Strawberry Thief pattern was originally created by William Morris and is recognised for its distinctive arrangement of birds, strawberries, flowers and foliage.

This chair is upholstered in a William Morris design tapestry fabric. The detailed woven appearance works particularly well with the traditional shape of the Berkley chair.

Several colourways are available:

• Indigo Blue

Fabric colours can appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings. We recommend requesting a fabric sample if you need to coordinate the chair with an existing room scheme.

COMFORT & CONSTRUCTION
The Berkley is built around a strong FSC-sourced hardwood and softwood frame using traditional upholstery techniques.

The seat base is fully sprung before insulating and supportive upholstery layers are fitted. A generously filled, removable cushion provides a comfortable medium-soft sit.

Its high back, shaped wings, padded scroll arms and supportive seat make the Berkley ideal as a fireside chair, reading chair or comfortable statement armchair.

WOODEN LEG FINISHES
The chair is supplied with Queen Anne-style solid wooden legs in a warm walnut finish.

• Vacuum gently using a soft upholstery attachment
• Blot spills immediately—do not rub
• Do not use harsh household cleaning products
• Use a professional upholstery cleaner for extensive cleaning
• Keep away from strong heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight
• Turn and plump the removable seat cushion regularly
• Always test upholstery-care products on an inconspicuous area first

This is not a mass-produced chair. Every frame is prepared, upholstered and finished individually by experienced craftspeople in our West Midlands workshop.
