Bring traditional British character, warmth and comfort into your home with our handmade Harris Tweed and distressed Italian leather two-seater sofa.

Inspired by the classic Queen Anne fireside chair, this elegant wingback sofa combines genuine 100% wool Harris Tweed® with premium distressed Italian semi-aniline leather.

The deep-buttoned high back, shaped wings, generously padded scroll arms and antique-style studding create a timeless country-house appearance. Two removable seat cushions provide a comfortable place to sit, read and relax.

Every sofa is individually handmade to order by experienced craftspeople in our West Midlands workshop.

UPHOLSTERY PLACEMENT

The sofa combines Harris Tweed and distressed Italian leather to create a distinctive contrasting finish.

Harris Tweed is used across the deep-buttoned inside back, removable seat cushions and selected outer panels. The distressed leather is used on the shaped wings, padded scroll arms and contrasting upholstered sections.

As every piece of Harris Tweed is individually cut, the exact positioning of checks, stripes and patterns will vary slightly from one sofa to another.

GENUINE DISTRESSED ITALIAN LEATHER

Our semi-aniline Italian leather retains the natural character of the original hide.

A subtle waxed finish enhances the leather’s rich colour variations and allows it to develop an attractive, lived-in patina with use. Natural grain, creases, healed scars, markings and variations in shade are expected characteristics of genuine leather.

These are not faults—they help ensure that every handmade sofa is individual.

AUTHENTIC HARRIS TWEED®

Harris Tweed® is made from 100% pure new wool.

The wool is dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland before being handwoven by islanders in their homes and finished in the Outer Hebrides.

Renowned for its warmth, durability and distinctive texture, Harris Tweed brings genuine British heritage to this individually made sofa.

Natural variations within the weave are part of the fabric’s authentic character. The sofa is supplied with a genuine Harris Tweed® Orb label.

COMFORT & CONSTRUCTION

The sofa is constructed around a strong timber frame using traditional furniture-making and upholstery techniques.

Its fully sprung seat base is covered with supportive upholstery layers. Two generously filled, removable seat cushions provide a comfortable medium-soft sit while maintaining the traditional appearance of the sofa.

The supportive high back, shaped wings and padded scroll arms make this sofa particularly suited to reading, relaxing or sitting beside the fire.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Vacuum the Harris Tweed gently using a soft upholstery attachment
• Blot spills immediately—do not rub
• Wipe the leather gently with a clean, dry cloth
• Do not use harsh household cleaners
• Keep away from strong heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight
• Turn, rotate and plump the removable seat cushions regularly
• Always test specialist leather-care products on an inconspicuous area first

HANDMADE TO ORDER

This is not a mass-produced sofa.

Every frame is prepared, upholstered and finished individually by experienced craftspeople in our West Midlands workshop using carefully selected materials and traditional skills.

Small differences in measurements, stitching, leather grain, tweed positioning and stud placement are natural characteristics of genuine handmade furniture.

Your sofa will be carefully protected for delivery.

For deliveries to islands, remote areas or destinations outside mainland UK, please contact us before purchasing so that we can confirm availability and any additional delivery charge.
