This distinctive Queen Anne fireside chair combines genuine distressed Italian leather with authentic Harris Tweed® fabric. The contrasting materials create a relaxed country-house appearance that complements traditional, rustic and contemporary interiors.

The chair features a supportive high back with traditional deep buttoning, shaped wings, generously padded scroll arms and a removable medium-soft seat cushion—providing a comfortable place to sit, read and relax.

Every chair is individually handmade to order by experienced craftspeople in our West Midlands workshop.

GENUINE DISTRESSED ITALIAN LEATHER

Our semi-aniline Italian leather retains the natural character and beauty of the hide.

A subtle waxed finish enhances the rich variations in colour and allows the leather to develop an attractive, lived-in patina over time.

Natural markings, creases, grain and variations in shade are inherent characteristics of genuine leather. They are not faults and help make every finished chair unique.

AUTHENTIC HARRIS TWEED®

Harris Tweed® is handwoven by islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

Renowned for its warmth, strength and distinctive woven texture, it brings genuine British heritage and character to this individually handmade chair.

The placement of the Harris Tweed pattern may vary slightly between chairs. Our upholsterers will carefully position and balance the design across the chair.

CHOOSING YOUR LEATHER AND HARRIS TWEED

You can create your own preferred leather and Harris Tweed combination.

STEP 1 – SELECT YOUR LEATHER

Choose your preferred Italian leather colour from the main Leather Colour menu.

STEP 2 – SELECT YOUR HARRIS TWEED

Choose your preferred Harris Tweed design from the separate Harris Tweed Colour menu shown later in the ordering options.

Both selections are required before the chair can be added to your basket.

This arrangement allows you to combine any available Italian leather colour with any available Harris Tweed design, giving you a much wider choice of finishes.

If you are uncertain which colours will coordinate well, please message us before ordering. We will be happy to offer advice and help you create a complementary combination.

Free leather and Harris Tweed samples are also available. Please message us with your address and the colours you would like to see.

HANDMADE TO ORDER

This is not a mass-produced chair.

Each frame is constructed and upholstered especially for you using traditional skills and carefully selected materials.

Our experienced craftspeople coordinate the leather, Harris Tweed, studding and wooden leg finish to create a balanced and beautifully finished chair.

Because genuine leather is a natural material and Harris Tweed is handwoven, variations in colour, grain, weave and pattern placement should be expected.

These variations are not faults—they are part of the authentic character of a genuinely handmade product.

CARE

Loose dust can be removed using a soft brush or an upholstery attachment on a low setting.

The leather should be wiped gently with a clean, slightly damp cloth and dried immediately. Do not use household detergents, solvents or abrasive cleaning products.

Harris Tweed should be gently vacuumed. Small marks should be treated carefully with a clean, slightly damp cloth without saturating or vigorously rubbing the wool fabric.

For extensive cleaning, we recommend using an experienced professional upholstery cleaner.

DELIVERY

Your chair will be carefully protected for delivery.

Please check that the chair dimensions are suitable for all doorways, hallways, staircases and turns before ordering.
