Add comfort, character and versatility to your home with our handmade round Italian leather bean bag footstool.

Generously filled with lightweight polystyrene beads, it provides comfortable, flexible support without the weight and rigidity of a traditionally framed footstool.

Use it as a soft footrest, relaxed leather pouffe, occasional extra seat or informal round coffee table with a suitable tray.

Each footstool is individually handmade to order in our UK workshop using genuine Italian leather. Its circular shape is carefully constructed with decorative piping, top-stitched panel detailing and reinforced seams.

COMPACT

A useful personal footstool that works well beside an armchair, in a bedroom or in a smaller living space.

Our largest size provides plenty of room for sharing as a family footstool. Its generous circular surface can also be used as a soft coffee-table alternative when paired with a firm, suitable tray.

THE CHARACTER OF GENUINE LEATHER

Our genuine Italian leather retains the individual markings and character of the hide. Natural variations in grain, tone, healed scars and creases are part of real leather and help make every footstool unique.

Colours can appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings. We recommend requesting a leather sample if you need to match an existing item of furniture or room scheme.

POLYSTYRENE BEAD FILLING

The footstool is supplied filled with lightweight polystyrene beads. This allows it to mould comfortably around your feet while remaining easy to move.

Polystyrene beads naturally compress gradually with use. The double-zip base and internal fabric funnel provide controlled access if you wish to add more filling in the future.

As this is a flexible bean-filled product, its finished shape and measurements may vary slightly depending on how the filling has settled.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Keep away from direct sunlight and strong heat sources
• Clean spills immediately
• Wipe gently with a clean, dry cloth
• Spot clean only
• Do not use harsh household cleaning products
• Plump and reshape the footstool periodically to redistribute the filling

SAFETY INFORMATION

• Polystyrene beads must be kept away from babies, children and pets
• Do not allow children to open or play with the zips
• Only open or refill the footstool in a controlled area away from children and animals
• Close both zips securely after accessing the filling
• Always use a stable tray when using the footstool as an informal coffee table
• Do not place hot items directly onto the leather

HANDMADE TO ORDER

This is not a mass-produced product. Every round bean bag footstool is individually cut, sewn, filled and finished by experienced craftspeople in our Midlands workshop.

Small variations in dimensions, leather grain, colour and stitching are a natural part of genuine handmade furniture.

HOW IT’S MADE

• Every bean stool is fitted with a unique internal fabric funnel, allowing for the controlled removal or addition of beads
• The base is secured with a double zip, which acts as a safety feature and helps prevent accidental spills
• All seams are sewn using strong bonded nylon thread
• The top-stitched seams are reinforced internally with poly-nylon webbing to strengthen the joins
• The top stitching is both a decorative design feature and an important part of the stool’s construction
• The circular top is twin-stitched and finished with decorative piping
