Every footstool is individually handmade to order by experienced craftspeople in our West Midlands workshop.

GENUINE ITALIAN LEATHER

Our vintage-finish Italian leather has a richly coloured and naturally characterful appearance.

The surface may display variations in grain, creases, shade and texture. These are natural characteristics of genuine leather rather than faults and help make every handmade footstool individual.

With use, the leather will continue to soften and develop its own distinctive patina, adding further depth and character over time.

Leather colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting and individual screen settings. Natural variations in the hide mean that no two finished footstools will be completely identical.

Seeing the leather in your own home will allow you to compare its colour, grain and texture with your existing furniture, flooring and interior lighting.

VERSATILE DESIGN

When using it as a coffee table, we recommend placing drinks, hot objects and delicate items on a stable tray to protect the leather surface.

The generously padded top provides a supportive surface while retaining the clean shape of the footstool.

Its substantial proportions make it particularly suitable for positioning in front of a large sofa or between coordinating armchairs.

HANDMADE FRAME

The internal wooden frame is traditionally constructed to provide lasting strength and stability.

Each frame is individually assembled, padded and upholstered by experienced craftspeople before the leather panels are carefully cut, stitched and fitted.

Solid wooden feet raise the footstool slightly from the floor and complete its clean, furniture-inspired appearance.

WOODEN FOOT FINISHES

The footstool is supplied with coordinating solid wooden feet.

Alternative wooden finishes may be available, including walnut, dark brown, mahogany and limed finishes.

Please contact us before ordering if you require a particular wooden foot finish.

BESPOKE OPTIONS

Because each footstool is handmade to order, alternative dimensions may be available.

If you require a bespoke size, please message us with your preferred width, depth and height before purchasing. We will confirm whether the requested size is possible and provide a quotation.

Please note that a change in dimensions may also affect the delivery cost, particularly for orders being sent outside the United Kingdom.

HANDMADE IN THE UK

Every footstool is made especially for you in our West Midlands workshop.

Our experienced craftspeople construct the frame, prepare the padding, cut and sew the leather and complete the upholstery individually.

This is not a mass-produced product. Small variations are natural and form part of the character of an authentic handmade piece of furniture.

MADE TO ORDER

Our current production time is shown in the delivery information. If you require the footstool for a particular date, please contact us before ordering and we will let you know what may be possible.

LEATHER CARE

Remove loose dust using a clean, soft cloth.

Minor marks should be treated carefully with a slightly damp cloth and then allowed to dry naturally. Avoid saturating or vigorously rubbing the leather.

Do not use bleach, household detergents, solvents, abrasive products, furniture polish, antibacterial sprays, baby wipes or unsuitable leather-cleaning wipes.

Keep the footstool away from strong direct heat and prolonged intense sunlight.

For more extensive cleaning or conditioning, use products specifically suitable for this type of leather after testing them on an inconspicuous area, or consult a professional leather upholstery cleaner.

DELIVERY

Your footstool will be carefully wrapped and protected before leaving our workshop.

The footstool is delivered fully assembled, so no assembly is normally required.

Please provide a telephone number after ordering, as this may be required by the courier to arrange or complete delivery.

Check that the dimensions are suitable for all doorways, hallways, staircases and turns before placing your order.

Deliveries are normally made to an accessible ground-floor entrance unless an alternative service has been agreed in advance.

Additional charges may apply to exceptionally remote destinations, offshore locations or addresses requiring a specialist delivery arrangement. If the carrier identifies an exceptional surcharge, we will contact you before dispatch.
