PREMIUM WOOL UPHOLSTERY

The Buckingham can be upholstered in a selection of soft, durable wool fabrics.

Wool provides a warm, tactile finish that works beautifully with the chair’s traditional wingback shape. Its subtle texture gives the chair depth and character while remaining suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.

COMFORT & CONSTRUCTION

The chair is constructed around a strong timber frame using traditional furniture-making and upholstery techniques.

Its fully sprung seat base is covered with insulating and supportive upholstery layers. A generously filled, removable seat cushion provides a comfortable medium-soft sit while retaining the chair’s traditional appearance.

The supportive high back, shaped wings and padded scroll arms make the Buckingham particularly suited to reading, relaxing or sitting beside the fire.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Vacuum the fabric gently using a soft upholstery attachment
• Blot spills immediately—do not rub
• Do not use harsh household cleaning products
• Keep away from strong heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight
• Turn and plump the removable seat cushion regularly
• Professional upholstery cleaning is recommended when required
• Always test specialist fabric products on an inconspicuous area first

HANDMADE TO ORDER

This is not a mass-produced chair.

Every frame is prepared, upholstered and finished individually by experienced craftspeople in our West Midlands workshop using traditional skills and carefully selected materials.

Small differences in measurements, stitching, fabric positioning and stud placement are natural characteristics of genuine handmade furniture.

DELIVERY

Your chair will be carefully protected and delivered fully assembled.

Our current estimated dispatch time is approximately 1–3 weeks. Bespoke fabrics or custom requirements may require additional time, which will be confirmed before ordering.

Please check the chair’s dimensions and ensure there is sufficient access through all doorways, hallways, staircases and entrances.

For deliveries to islands, remote areas or destinations outside mainland UK, please contact us before purchasing so that we can confirm availability and any additional delivery charge.
