Created for pet owners who want their dog’s crate to complement the home rather than feel like an unattractive necessity, this luxurious set combines practical design with wonderfully soft, deeply textured corduroy.

The tailored outer cover fits neatly over your dog’s existing wire crate, helping create a calmer and more private space in which your dog can rest. The front panel can be rolled up and secured using the coordinating leather fastenings, giving you the flexibility to leave the crate open and airy during the day or create a cosier environment when your dog wants to settle.

A generously filled matching cushion completes the set, providing a soft and inviting place for your dog to relax.

Each set is individually handmade to order by our experienced team in our West Midlands workshop.

FIBRE-FILLED CUSHION

Our generously filled fibre cushion creates a soft, plump and inviting bed that your dog can nestle into.

The fibre filling is enclosed within a protective white waterproof inner cover, helping protect the filling from moisture, muddy paws and everyday accidents.

ORTHOPAEDIC FOAM CUSHION

The orthopaedic option provides a flatter, firmer and more supportive sleeping surface.

It can be particularly suitable for older dogs, larger breeds and dogs that benefit from additional joint and pressure-point support. It is also an excellent choice for owners who prefer a cushion that retains a more structured shape.

CHOOSING THE CORRECT SIZE

Please select the size that corresponds with the external dimensions of your metal crate.

Dog crate dimensions can vary between manufacturers, even when they are described using the same nominal size. We strongly recommend measuring the overall width, depth and height of your crate before ordering rather than relying solely on its stated size.

Measure the crate itself at its widest and tallest points. If you are uncertain which option is suitable, please send us your crate measurements before ordering and we will be happy to help.

Bespoke covers may also be available for non-standard crates. Please contact us with the exact external width, depth and height for a quotation.

HANDMADE TO ORDER

This is not a mass-produced crate cover.

Every set is individually measured, cut, sewn and finished by our experienced team in the West Midlands. Careful construction and neatly finished seams give the cover a tailored appearance, while the wonderfully tactile jumbo cord brings softness and warmth to your dog’s space.

Small variations in measurements and fabric appearance are a natural part of handmade production.

COLOUR AND FABRIC

Jumbo cord is a tactile upholstery fabric with a distinctive raised ribbed texture. The direction of the pile and changes in lighting can make the colour appear lighter or darker when viewed from different angles.

Colours may also vary slightly between photographs, screens and individual fabric batches. Fabric samples are available if you would like to check the colour and texture before placing your order.

CARE

The removable cushion cover can be taken off for cleaning.

To help preserve the fabric’s texture and appearance, follow the care instructions supplied with your set. Attend to spills promptly and avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning products.

The outer crate cover can be regularly vacuumed using a soft upholstery attachment to remove loose hair and dust.

Your set will be carefully folded, wrapped and protected before leaving our workshop.

The cushion may be compressed for transport. Once unpacked, gently reshape it and allow time for the filling to recover its natural fullness.

Please provide a telephone number after ordering, as this may be required by the courier to arrange or complete delivery.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

• This listing is for the fabric crate cover and matching cushion only; the metal crate is not included.
• Always ensure that your dog’s crate remains adequately ventilated.
• Position the cover away from heaters, fires and other heat sources.
• Never allow your dog to become excessively warm while the crate is covered.
• The front panel should be opened or adjusted whenever additional airflow is required.
• Regularly inspect the cover, cushion and fastenings for signs of damage.
• Discontinue use if any part becomes torn or loose.
• This product is not chew-proof or indestructible.
• Dogs that chew, scratch or pull bedding should be supervised while using it.
• Keep the leather fastenings outside the crate and away from your dog’s reach.
• Introduce any new crate bedding gradually and make sure it is suitable for your individual dog.

 • Classic sizes include a generously filled fibre cushion with a protective waterproof inner cover — soft, plump and ideal for dogs that like to nestle in.

 • Luxury sizes include a supportive orthopaedic memory foam cushion — firmer and more structured, particularly suited to older dogs, larger breeds or dogs that benefit from additional joint support. Both options are available in all five crate sizes.

Crate dimensions can vary between manufacturers, even when two crates are described as the same nominal size. Please check the external height, width and depth rather than relying solely on the stated length or suggested breed.

Every set is handmade to order, and we are more than happy to produce a cover and cushion to suit your particular crate size, door configuration or design requirements.

OPTIONAL METAL DOG CRATE

A correctly sized double-door metal crate can be supplied separately in each of the listed sizes.

The crate is not included in the advertised price unless expressly agreed and purchased separately. Please contact us before ordering if you would like to add a metal crate.

FIRE-SAFETY COMPLIANCE

The upholstery covering fabrics and filling materials used in our crate bedding meet the applicable requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988, as amended.

Applicable ignitability testing requirements are based on BS 5852 Part 1:1979 for covering materials and BS 5852 Part 2:1982 for filling materials and composite cushion fillings.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

CRATE COVER AND REMOVABLE CUSHION COVER

• Remove the cover from the crate or cushion before washing
• Fasten all zips and secure the toggle cords
• Machine wash separately at 30°C on a gentle cycle
• Use a mild detergent
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry
• Reshape while damp
• Allow to air dry naturally
• Do not replace until completely dry

WATERPROOF INNER COVER

• Wipe clean using a damp cloth and mild detergent
• Allow to dry completely before replacing the outer cover
• Do not tumble dry
• Keep away from direct heat sources

FIBRE CUSHION

• Plump and turn regularly to redistribute the filling
• Spot clean the filled inner when required
• Ensure the cushion is completely dry before use

ORTHOPAEDIC MEMORY-FOAM PAD

• Remove the washable outer cover before cleaning
• Do not machine wash, soak or tumble dry the foam
• Spot clean carefully using a damp cloth
• Allow the foam to air dry completely
• Keep away from radiators and other direct heat sources
